EagleCast TV DMCA and copyright policy

How to report copyrighted material, what we need from you, and what we do about it.

EagleCast TV respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects everyone who uses the service to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and comparable legislation elsewhere.

Our position on content

EagleCast TV provides access only to content it is authorised to distribute. We do not host, record, transcode or store third-party broadcast streams on our own infrastructure, and we do not encourage or condone the unauthorised redistribution of protected material. Where we are notified that something in our line-up is carried without proper authorisation, we investigate and remove it.

Filing a notice of alleged infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act on behalf of one, send a written notice to contact.provideriptv@gmail.com with the subject line “DMCA Notice”. To let us act quickly, please include all of the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or their authorised agent.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. Where multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list is sufficient.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, described precisely enough for us to locate it — the specific channel name, stream identifier or on-demand title.
  • Your full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on their behalf.

What happens next

We acknowledge every valid notice, normally within two business days of receipt. Where a notice is complete and the claim is substantiated, we remove or disable access to the material identified and confirm to you once that is done. Where a notice is incomplete we will tell you what is missing rather than simply ignoring it.

Counter-notification

If you believe material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the same address. It should identify the material and its previous location, include your contact details, and carry a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, together with your consent to the jurisdiction of an appropriate court.

Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of subscribers who are repeat infringers. Misuse of the service in breach of our Terms of Service may result in suspension without refund.

Notices submitted in bad faith

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages. We take deliberately false notices seriously.
